the cross is empty,
Christ is Risen from the tomb
the black cloth of sorrow
of Friday, of Saturday has
been
replaced by the empty white
cloth.
Christ is not here;
but the sin casts a shadow
on our lives, forever,
which only the light of
Jesus
can ever overcome.

on our lives which only the light of Jesus can overcome”
on Easter morning before sunrise
and on Easter night
still casting a dark shadow
