Ordinary people, extraordinary things
things they could not do done
done in the name of Jesus, the martyred king
the Messiah killed by the chant,
the judgment of his people
rulers unable to see beyond
to see the divine, to believe
Now the truth, building, growing
these ordinary men, able
empowered, emboldened
by the spirit filled,
in his name, able to heal
Unwilling, unable to be silent
The world would know
of the power of Christ
