They were everyday people, Peter and John
with fears, doubts, timid men, fishermen
Taken from the sea by the Lord
walking the land with their teacher
hidden away until Pentecost
Speaking with power, with authority
worshipping, praying together
Healing in the name of Jesus
by his name alone making the lame walk
Powerful witness, to the hand of God
resting on these ordinary people
What will the leaders do?
