Beating within us,
hearts to love you, given to us by you
our very lives, a gift of your heavenly hands
our bodies, our hearts, our will, all given freely
our days numbered before we were born
wondrously shaped, guided by your hands
Hearts beating, to love one another, if only
If only we would submit to your will alone Lord
that we would turn our lives over to you
to turn from the world, being merely in the world
Hearts to love you, to bear witness, and to do your work
wherever you would send us, whatever you would have us do
