Ordinary people, lay people, uneducated in the law
healing the lame, speaking in tongues, miracles in his name
These are the chosen, the disciples, the leaders
of the new faith, the Way, Christians
In Christ’s name, using his name, they healed
By His name we too are healed, made like them
ordinary people empowered
to do extraordinary things
