Gathering in the single place
all the disciples waiting
together as the Lord had told them
following his command
before the flames of Pentecost
the Spirit descending
a wind from heaven falling
a sound to fill the whole house
What must they have been thinking
unable to hear
the power of God come down
bringing the Spirit near
