The Spirit descending
not as a dove
sentient flames of the Spirit
alighting on each one of us
Coming to rest upon on
entering into our lives
indwelling within us
guiding our walk in this life
Leading us toward God
away from the sins of the earth
walking with us to heaven
when our work here is through
