Authority

Who has authority
from where does it derive
who controls us
power over our lives?

We are our masters
only in our freedom
free to choose
to turn our backs on God.

God is the potter
our lives in our hands
the prophets who spoke for him
a message from God.

Sending Christ Jesus
his only Son
his words, authority
for he was the One.
