In the fabric of the night sky
stretched above the dome
the shimmering lights
the hand of the creator
setting each to right
He assigns each star a name
in the whole cosmos
sequins in the night
loving us richly
each one of us a star
A light shining brightly
in his loving hands
holding us closely,
alive with the Spirit’s fire
sharing the blood of the lamb.
