Christ told us to love
a new commandment
spoken in the upper room
on the night of his betrayal
Christ is God, incarnate,
the Son of the Father
God is love, ergo,
Christ is love incarnate
We are to love
to love as Christ loved us
Love climbed the cross
paying the price for us
This is what Christ means by love
loving God so much
submitting his life for us
when Love climbed the cross
