Sacrificing the Unblemished Lamb – v2

Power in these words
where they took place
in the upper room
before Judas betrayed him

God here with us
in the skin of human flesh
fulfilling the law, the prophets
walking in God’s love

Christ speaking the new law
the command, his living
his choice to die
to become the sacrifice

Sacrificing the unblemished lamb
the living Son of God
come here to save us
an example for our lives
