What Christ meant by Love

Christ spoke to them
the eleven in the upper room
immediately after Satan/Judas departed
out to betray him

What Christ meant by love
why it was a new commandment
not the ancient words of the law
something more substantial

Love, as he loved,
not just for our neighbor
to love unconditionally
offering Christ to them

What Christ mean by love
not limit, eternal
giving them ourselves
holding nothing back
