My life, our nation
following false gods
held in place
no turning from this path
Satan holding us
stuck in this path
no way to the light
a millstone of debt
Held in the darkness
the ways of the world
this time, this place
needing to shed the shackles
Breaking his chains
the grip of the world
to follow our Savior
to follow his ways
