As Christ breathed his last
the high priest the sacrifice
the Savior upon the cross
making the offering for us
No sin did he have to repent of
a pure, holy sacrifice
entering the holy of holies
the lamb upon the cross
The curtain was torn forever
the end of the rule of the priests
for they had conspired against him
to kill the Son of God
