a king of another complexion
nothing like what they expected
something completely different
in this Messiah, this Christ
the Son of God triumphal
yet riding on a donkey
slowly walking into Jerusalem
to set the world to right
something completely different
not a warrior-king
a humble servant, a sacrifice
our Savior on the tree
