Emptied of power
yet remaining fully God
God took on human flesh
walking here with us
Living, growing,
working as a man
called to Jordan
to fulfill his destiny
Serving in mission
to teach his people love
to share the good news
God’s kingdom come
Healing the sick
casting demons out
walking toward Jerusalem
faithful to God’s call
Going to the temple courts
before the law of man
standing in the breach for us
going to the cross
God took on human flesh
God felt pain in our place
the pure unblemished lamb
became sin and died for us
