Not Exactly in Shadows – v4

The color richer, deeper somehow,

because it was muted

not exactly in shadows

but our sun behind dark clouds

Hiding in plain sight

not casting its light, sharp edges,

the tulips alive, growing in, alive in,

the dimmed morning bright
