Wandering like the Prodigal
needing to ponder the star;
We are dependent on the cross of Christ
to lead us home to God
He has done the more costly part
going to the cross for us;
freeing us from death and sin
bearing the awful price
Yet we are dependent
in our freedom to walk;
We need to turn to Him
to let Christ enter in
We are dependent on the cross
not to the world;
We share in His ministry
leading us home to God
