at the foot of Calvary

at the foot of Calvary
in the presence of our Savior
in his loving arms
we can find love
in what Christ gave us
bringing our cares to him
we can love
for all eternity

at the foot of Calvary
standing with our sisters, our brothers
gathered there together, one people
holding fast to God’s light
we can find hope,
peace for tomorrow
together in Christ
we can share God’s love

at the foot of Calvary
in the arms of our Savior
knowing Easter morning
Christ’s victory, our rising
we find joy, hope in his presence
leading us on
the path to the Father
