his anger lasts but a moment
In God’s holy mercy
compassion for our humanness
more aware than we of our weakness
holding out his hands for us
God’s anger is fleeting
but a moment in God’s sight
his love, his mercy unending
a lifetime, eternity
bringing us to him
sharing his love, compassion
offering life to us
