A new house, a new car
wealth in the bank,
ostentatious living
letting it all hang out
Full barns of the rich man
rewards here on earth;
but what of the ledger in heaven
the book of his life
Full barns but an empty heart
thinking of himself,
the indictment of the rich man
an accounting bound for heck.
