the stones

should, mostly,
in the old
story
those
unable
to stand in
judgment
as none of
us are.
we don’t
want to hear
Christ’s
words to her,
“I do not
judge you;
but sin no
more.”
she was called
to repentance
as we are
in following
to a
changed direction
to walk
righteous
in the
world.
His words
of challenge
to each of
us, all of us living,
this
command of Jesus
to go and
sin no more.
