The sense of Discernment

feeling certain, confident
in a way you can’t explain
knowing you understand
the calling of God
the sense of discernment
of some divine knowing
going as you are called
out into the world
sensing your gifts
and how God wants you to use them
faithful not enough
some deeper knowing
the sense of discernment guiding
the Spirit speaking to us
guiding us, certain
going about our work.
