Not just our actions,
the sins we can quantify,
needing to admit our brokenness
the sin in our nature, as David did,
our utter need ,
for forgiveness, for mercy,
for the grace of God.
Christ alone can heal the breach
the schism, the Fall from Grace
Only by God’s grace
are each of us restored;
Christ alone, by His gift, His blood
only He is able to make a way
our path back to God at the end of our days
