Meeting Jesus by Their Boats

The fishermen, there on the shore
meeting Jesus by their boats
tired from the night before
a crowd pressing all around
seeking his message of love

Taking him onto the sea
to preach to the crowd
catching a harvest of souls
going out to deeper waters
there nets too full to hold

Taking nothing with them
leaving their lives
when he said, come, follow me
their purpose in life
changed on that day
fishing for men instead
