Reminders in a Sound

So much of memory
in the senses triggered
both happy times
and times that shake our souls

Reminders in the sound
stress rising
even in these times of fear
Christ is always near

Walking with us all of our days
even in the shadow of death
guiding our steps along the way
leading us home to him
