In the Presence of Our Creator

One of the two choices
we face each day
to walk with our Savior
or in the ways of the world

We may be certain
God is right with us
there forever hopeful
we will turn toward him

Making the same choice
as Jesus in the desert
or in the garden
submitting his life to God

We are so lucky
God wants to be with us
to walk beside us
in this journey of life

We can be with him
in the presence of our Creator
only to turn to him
to see our Maker’s face

Like the father of the prodigal
the son who ran away
God waiting with open arms
every single day

Waiting hopeful
that we will come home
walking with our Savior
to life, forevermore
