Redeemed by Grace

Not to be taken lightly
God’s commandments, his laws
all of this righteous
to come before our God

Yet we are mortal
flawed from the started
needing the coming of Jesus
to be saved from death

Redeemed by grace
though we walk
under the law
both are parts of this life
in wonderment and awe

God calls us to be faithful
to be humble before our God
to love our neighbors and justice
to seek the truth in the law

God saved us from ourselves
when we come up short
when the sin overwhelms us
a curse from our birth
