Preserved for Christ

We are to be salt
to season the world
to share God’s love
to the ends of the earth

To prepare the fields
tending the garden
a harvest for our savior
preserved for his coming

Salty enough
to protect the people
to steel their hearts
that they may be healed

Gathering the nations
the sheep from wandering
