A Morning of Easter

All of us promised
after our days
walking the way of the cross
our master’s steps
leading the way

Going to the grave
the end of this life
yet each waking
in our own
morning of Easter

Raised on high
to the gates of heaven
living with him
in the courts of the Lord
may we ever sing
