Radically Different

Reading these words of Christ
preaching from the mountain
closer to God
revealing his message
of what it is to be blessed
held in esteem
raised up, special
in the eyes of God
radically different,
than all that the world says
all we may believe
recasting the eyes of the world
if we would but see

to live with greater intentionality and to find deeper levels of meaning
for our lives. Instant gratification can be the enemy of faithful living.
Intentionality is the path to blessedness.”
