Proclaim the Good News

Christ told them
telling us too
to go into the world
sharing the good news
the coming of the Lord
the love of God for man

Proclaim the good news
to the ends of the earth
offering God’s grace to all
yet the choice of each one
whether to turn from the world
to come home to the Lord

We are to plant,
to sow the good seed
watered with the word
offering the choice
to each trembling heart
to turn, to come,
to be restored

The decision of each
everyone on earth
whether to follow the Christ
we are the workers in the fields
to the ends of the earth
spreading the message of love
