The Spirit Says

Not what the world would say
no to Christ’s love
the kind that cares for others;
putting self above

The Spirit says we should go
to do the master’s work
to care for our neighbors
even our enemies

The world says that we should stay
just in our current state
that we should not venture out
that is never safe

The Spirit says we should go
out into the world
to trust in the grace of God
to share our savior’s love
