Riding Shotgun

No longer driving
riding in the passenger seat
turning over the wheel
riding shotgun with God

He is the shepherd
the world the open road
the Spirit guiding
where he wants us to go

Changing our path
trusting in God
fuel for the journey
and a place to call our own

Submitting our will
all of our days
control of our life
in his loving care
