As for our country
so for our souls
the cost of our freedom
amazing to comprehend
love poured out on us
The sacrifice of our kinsmen
the people of this land
the sacrifice of the lamb
dying that we would live
in freedom once again
The price that they paid
lovingly on our behalf
never to be repaid
forever may we remember
the awful price they paid
