For each one of us
a moment like Paul
believing in Christ
in the doorway of the cross
On one side
our past, our history
crucified and destroyed
removed utterly
On the other new life
restored in our Lord
healed and redeemed
Only to follow
to carry the good news
the gateway of Christ
leading us to You
