a barley loaf
small,
perhaps broken
crushed
by life, small,
by
struggles, the journey
just
a barley loaf
given
to the Shepherd
lifted
in His loving hands
broken
for His people
just
a barley loaf
some
bread, some fish,
more
than enough
and
more left over
