The paralyzed man
laying on the mat
lowered through the ceiling
into the hands of strangers
into the crowd
carried before Jesus
that he would be healed
The hands of so many
all together helping
hand to hand passing
this man on a mat
a stretcher of that time
that he would come
right in front of the Lord
Stirring up the leaders
by Christ’s healing that day
their faith brining him
to the feet of Christ
forgiven and redeemed
going home restored
praising God on the way
