Until the Return of Christ

The war raging
inside each heart
the Spirit fighting
that we would live in Christ

The world counting on
the weakness of the flesh
that we would fall back
into sin and death

Until the return of Christ
the battle to be pitched
pray that you will fall
ever to your knees

Calling to God,
Father, Spirit, Son
that you would rise
to final victory

Following his Spirit
guiding your steps
preparing you for heaven
as you serve here below
