Christ’s faith being tested
trusting in God;
sweat falling heavy
like blood splattering
falling on the ground.
Christ, the disciples sleeping,
praying in that garden
that the cup may pass by Him
that He may live
another day.
Struggling, in anguish,
fighting off temptation
to run from the cup before Him;
Christ remaining faithful to His path,
submitting to the Father’s will.
