Christ’s Blood on the Cross

The lintels of the cross
the doorframe of eternity
God not passing over
the people this time

The Son a sacrifice
nailed to the rugged cross
serving to set us free
from the tyranny of sin

Christ’s blood
poured out on the cross
healing our brokenness
at such a mighty cost
