Misdirected Frenzy

The season corrupted
misdirected frenzy
chasing for bargains
to have this or that

All of it a distraction
a temptation from the enemy
to steal the joy of this moment
the reason for the season

Christ came to earth!
Let us not forget this
God came from heaven
to heal our brokenness

We are the messengers
the ones in this time
to shine his light into the darkness
in this world, to all mankind
