In the Spirit of Thanksgiving

For the bounty of the season
for all the many reasons
thankful for my blessings
raining down on me

In the spirit of thanksgiving
for all of this singing
rising from my soul
a song of hope and praises

Thankful to the creator
to my Lord and savior
that all of this is from you
from beginning to end

Needing to be mindful
my heart overflowing, full
remembering the source
the reason for my singing

God is the provider
our savior, our brother
walking with us here
all of our days

So much to remember
so much to offer
praise and thanksgiving
to our God and king
