The one who went to the cross

We should follow
the calling of Christ
God, our creator
the one who went to the cross

He is our king
our future assured
his sacrifice redeemed us
making us clean, pure

We should follow
going where he would lead
he is our savior, redeemer
the perfecter of our faith
