Hope – 2

Hope in this season
in the coming of Christ
hope for a reason
that he came to the earth

Wanting to sense him
as if new, for the first time
the presence of God with us
in your heart and mine

God gifting us Jesus
his Son, part of him
sent down to save us
new life found in him

Hope we would journey
like the Magi to the Christ-child
hope in his coming
to bring us home to him
