Wonderfully Alive

The cats pressed
whiskers alert
the leaves outside the window
wonderfully alive
moving in concert
as if stitched together
the dance they are moving
as if by a hidden hand
the puppeteer of life
guiding them ever
dancing and spinning
wonderfully alive
a blessing to us
watching their dance
