Your Star Rising

Your star rising
shining in the night
into the dark world
making the darkness bright

Coming to save us
by your descending to the earth
sealing the rift between us
between man and our God

The babe, the man
the one who climbed the cross
all to fulfill the prophecies
paying an awful cost

Healing us, redeeming us
bringing us back to God
following our master
in the way of the cross
