Our First Candle

A candle of peace
not of this earth
of the Savior,
the one who came down
who lived among us
giving up his crown
A candle of peace
that God can only give
reconciling us to him
that we would truly live
Witnesses now
while we walk the earth
until his coming again
when we will have new birth
