Not for show, or public consumption
seeking God, my savior
alone and in private
going into the quiet of my room
My palms open
my voice rising
singing praises
to almighty God
Calling him
to show his presence
to speak to me
words I need to hear
Humbly listening
or so I try to
to hear the messages
I am to share
Raising petitions, offering,
things weighing on my heart
honestly asking
because he answers prayer
