Unlike the disciples,
still not with the spirit
long before Pentecost,
simple fishermen
Christ in the garden
in his anguish
falling to his knees
asking for the cup
to pass by his lips
Yet, in that moment of trial
his personal anguish
submitting to the will of God
drinking the cup of our sin
